Welcome to the yoga mat. Showing up to a yoga practice is one of the first steps to good health and healing.
Born and brought up in Mumbai, India, my yoga studies began in early childhood. Forever grateful to my mentors who not only taught us the postures, but also gave us a basic understanding of Ayurvedic science. Tuning our body with nature, eating foods that are beneficial to our brain and body and practicing Yogasan as a Community will lead to a holistic living experience. I recollect how Happy Baby pose was recommended as a cure for indigestion, or how milk, honey and ghee were used to cure constipation and how Yog Nidra leads to a sound sleep. I am quite focused on our overall bowel and sleep health, and I consider it one of the sacred pillars of our well-being.
