I consider it an honor to hear the stories, sorrows, joys, pains, and triumphs of clients and strive to reflect reverence and genuine curiosity for one’s life experiences and vulnerabilities. I seek to support you on a path of self-discovery and uplift and offer you a direct—yet warm and compassionate—approach with a dash of humor. Therapy and our private selves need not be a source of shame nor embarrassment. I seek to support movement towards more authentic, social, and fulfilling lives for all of us.
Together we will explore root patterns of inner and outer conflicts and how obstacles are influenced by family dynamics, devaluating experiences, and systems of power and oppression. We will collaborate to identify strengths and find real solutions that ring true for you. I believe in affirming gender and sexuality across a spectrum of identities as well as relationship and family structures outside of traditional models.
I am completing my graduate degree at University of Maryland, School of Social and have an arts and pre-nursing background. My holistic approach pulls from motivational interviewing, internal family systems, cognitive behavioral therapy, and a psychodynamic perspective. I am enthused to work with older teenagers and adults of all ages and have experience with both. I hold a particular passion to serve parents of young children, especially single parents, and develop a practice focus in couples and relationship therapy.
